Dana White on his mother's unauthorised book: "One of the grossest, most disgusting things"
White told The Diary Of A CEO the falling-out began with threatening emails demanding money, and that his mother died without him or his sister speaking to her.

Dana White says the book his mother published about him without his permission was "one of the grossest, most disgusting things that you couldn't even imagine possible until it happens to you".
Steven Bartlett handed White a copy on The Diary Of A CEO. "I've actually never seen the book. It's the first time I've ever seen the book," White said as he flipped through it. "I mean, she put my f***ing wedding pictures in here."
Asked where things went wrong, White said it started with emails he found after a trip to London of about two weeks. "When I got back, I checked my emails and I have like a bunch of emails from her like threatening me. You have two options. You can give me this all up front or you can pay me payments over the next f***ing whatever. I'm looking to buy a bar or whatever it was," he said. "The email started getting nastier and nastier and nastier by the end. And I was like, I f***ing just blew up. And that was the beginning of the end with me and her."
"Listen, sometimes family is the worst," White said. "We all fail at certain things in life. In my opinion, if you fail as a parent, it's the ultimate failure. My mom passed away without me or my sister talking to her."
Asked if he had forgiven her, he said: "Listen, I don't go on shows to speak negatively about my mother." He said he would not change anything, and that he is where he is today because of his parents: "Absolutely, 100%. You know, good, bad, whatever, however you want to look at it."
White said he has never read the book, but that it hurt other people, not him. "A lot of things that aren't true and a lot of people that didn't do anything to her in that book. And again, I've never read it, but I've had lawyers tell me about it," he said. "And then the personal private pictures that she just threw out there that she really didn't have the right to do."
