Anthony Joshua says he and Tyson Fury are "polar opposites", and that Fury has neither a bodybuilder's physique nor one-punch power.

The Ring's Rick Reeno put it to Joshua that Fury talks about him as "this bodybuilder guy, got one good punch and that's it", and asked how he would describe Fury. "He's definitely not got a bodybuilder's physique. That's quite evident. Yeah, he doesn't possess one-punch power, so we're polar opposites, I would say," Joshua said.

He said beating Fury in Cardiff on 11 December will take more than one big shot. "I'm gonna have to just bring more than a powerful punch... put my punches in bunches and just break him down, just chip away at the tree."

Joshua also said a title is not what drives him. The WBA's super title is reported to be on the line in Cardiff, and WBA champion Murat Gassiev's team has asked the WBA to clarify its rules. On the WBA title, Joshua said: "We still respect you as champion... I'm not fighting for no championship. I'm just fighting to be better than the man across the room from me... I don't care about no belt."

He said Oleksandr Usyk told him to "keep a cool head" and not to lose himself "in the back and forth", but added: "If I want to talk, I'm going to talk." On the negotiations, he said: "I didn't ask for any other alternative opponent... We didn't really change anything in our contract."
