Carlos Prates will fight unbeaten Michael Morales for the interim UFC welterweight title in the main event of UFC 336 in Toronto on 30 January, with champion Islam Makhachev out of action.
Prates had originally been expected to challenge Makhachev on the same card. The new five-round headliner was announced during the UFC 333 broadcast in Abu Dhabi.
The Brazilian goes into the fight on a run of three consecutive knockout wins, a streak that includes victories over two former UFC welterweight champions, Jack Della Maddalena and Leon Edwards. Morales is 19-0, with seven of those wins coming in the UFC.
The co-main event is a flyweight title fight between champion Joshua Van and Manel Kape. Van returns quickly after defending his belt against Alexandre Pantoja at UFC 331, and a win in Toronto would be his third successful title defence in a row.
Kape comes into the fight on a four-fight knockout streak.
