Rico Verhoeven says he has said yes to Deontay Wilder fight on Fury vs Joshua card
The fight is not confirmed: Dana White has said Jai Opetaia agreed to face Wilder in Cardiff on 11 December.
Rico Verhoeven is waiting to hear whether Deontay Wilder will accept a fight with him on the Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua card in Cardiff.
"What I can confirm is that they offered me a fight with Deontay Wilder, and I said yes," the Dutch kickboxer told talkSPORT. "I'm waiting on the response. So if there is a yes from the other side, then it is going to happen."
The fight is not confirmed. Zuffa Boxing's Dana White said last week that Jai Opetaia had agreed to face Wilder in Cardiff on the same night.
Verhoeven was stopped in the 11th round by Oleksandr Usyk in Egypt in May.
