Jermall Charlo on Caleb Plant: "You're a quitter, man"
Charlo told Fight Hub TV that Plant could have made their fight and "made multi-millions", as he plans one last run at a world title at 168lb.

Jermall Charlo has called Caleb Plant a quitter and says Plant could have made their fight happen.
Asked by Fight Hub TV for the first thing that came to mind about rivals at 168lb, Charlo answered: Jaime Munguia, "Champion"; Hamza Sheeraz, "Growing"; Edgar Berlanga, "Wannabe". Then Plant: "Trash."
Asked why, Charlo said: "You're a quitter, man. You're a quitter. Caleb Plant could have been made the fight happen with me and him, could have been got that out the way, made multi-millions." He added that he keeps "getting excuses every time".
He then softened it slightly. "I squashed the beef, really, honestly. I don't got no beef with him," Charlo said. "Not let me say trash, that's negative. Just, just Caleb Plant: negative."
Charlo called this his last run at a world title, but not the end of his career. "It's my last run at a world title. I'm in my third weight division," he said. "I'm gonna go for another world title at 168, however I got to do it." He said he wants "to fight everyone who ever said something negative or bad about Jermall Charlo".
He still wants Canelo Alvarez too: "I do want to fight Canelo before it's all said and done. Okay, I'm not gonna be a Canelo chaser."
Charlo also gave his view on Shakur Stevenson's row with Timothy Bradley. "Shakur probably not wrong," he said, but "maybe he should have kind of fell back a little bit" rather than "cursing them out and being disrespectful, because at my level we didn't do that to the OGs". He added: "Maybe Timothy Bradley need to stop stepping too far out of bounds and saying certain things about certain fighters."
