BKFC president David Feldman says big-name opponents are being lined up for Darren Till, with one of them set to feature in an announcement due in the next couple of weeks.

A home fight could be part of the plan for the British fighter. Feldman raised the possibility of staging Till's next bout at a football stadium in Liverpool, although nothing is booked and he also said Till could return to the United States for a future fight.

Till has won both of his bare-knuckle fights since signing an initial three-fight deal with BKFC. Feldman said the promotion has options on his next few fights, and that the two sides are on good terms despite Till's interest in lucrative work elsewhere.

Feldman said: “I get along very, very well with his management, but there is a fight or two outside of BKFC that he would like that would be a really, really big payday for him.” He added: “There is going to be a longer relationship with BKFC and Darren Till.” One of those outside fights was Jake Paul. Till had been in talks to face him until Paul chose PFL welterweight Cedric Doumbe for his return to boxing.

Feldman said he would have been supportive of Till taking the Paul fight, but that BKFC's own plans must come first. Timing would decide it, he explained: if BKFC faced leaving Till inactive for eight or nine months, it would only be fair to let him take a payday elsewhere, but he would fight for BKFC if a suitable bout was ready to announce.

Of a possible meeting with Paul, Feldman said: “I think that Darren Till can hang in there with Jake Paul, has a very good chance of beating him as well so I think it could raise his profile a lot and he has a chance to make a lot of money.” The promotion has made an exception before, allowing Mike Perry to book his own boxing match with Paul, which delayed his return to BKFC. Feldman said he supports fighters taking major opportunities outside the organisation, but that each case is judged individually.
