Movsar Evloev's 1,500 push-ups an hour, taken from Kostya Tszyu's training method
The unbeaten featherweight described the Saturday session to Sport-Express in 2020. He faces Alexander Volkanovski for the title at UFC 333.

Movsar Evloev, who challenges Alexander Volkanovski for the UFC featherweight title next week, once said he had built a weekly push-up session up to 1,500 repetitions in an hour.
Asked by Sport-Express in 2020 about his push-up record, Evloev said he did not do many repetitions in a single set, but trained every Saturday using a method from former world boxing champion Kostya Tszyu. "His workout involves 1,000 push-ups," Evloev said, in Russian. "I've done it so often that I've built it up to 1,500 in an hour with no rest at all. The only rest is on the skipping rope."
Evloev, unbeaten in 20 fights, meets Volkanovski at UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi on 24 October: UFC 333 UK start time and how to watch.
