Alice Pereira enters bantamweight rankings aged 20 as Brendan Allen climbs to fourth
Pereira's TKO win over Darya Zheleznyakova at UFC Vegas 122 earns her a debut at number twelve, and MMA Mania says she is now the youngest woman ever to appear in the UFC's rankings.

Alice Pereira has entered the women's bantamweight rankings at number twelve in the updated UFC Meta Rankings published by MMA Mania. She earned the place by beating Darya Zheleznyakova by TKO, after a retirement, at UFC Vegas 122 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Saturday. Zheleznyakova drops out of the list.
At 20, Pereira is the youngest woman to feature in the UFC's rankings, MMA Mania said. The previous record belonged to Maycee Barber, who was ranked at 21 in December 2019. The UFC's official media rankings had not been updated at the time of publication and are expected to be phased out in the coming weeks.
Brendan Allen moves up one place to fourth at middleweight after submitting Christian Leroy Duncan in Saturday's main event. Above him are Nassourdine Imavov, Dricus Du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev, with Sean Strickland the champion. Allen's rise comes at the expense of Joe Pyfer, who fights Bo Nickal in December.
Loopy Godinez was the biggest riser of the week, climbing three places after a decision win over Ketlen Souza.
