Arman Tsarukyan swings at Dillon Danis as brawl breaks out at RAF 14 press conference
Danis wore a shirt about Khamzat Chimaev that Ariel Helwani called disparaging, and security rushed the table a day before the pair wrestle for an RAF title.
Arman Tsarukyan got up and swung at Dillon Danis at the RAF 14 press conference on Thursday, and a full brawl broke out a day before the pair wrestle for the promotion's first middleweight crossover title.
Danis wore a black T-shirt with a photo of Khamzat Chimaev's face on the front. According to Ariel Helwani, "Dillon was wearing a disparaging shirt about Khamzat. Someone asked about it. Arman got up and swung - not sure if he hit him - and then chaos". Helwani called it "a full on brawl" between Arman and Dillon.
Security rushed the table as the stage descended into chaos. It is not clear whether anything landed.
Tsarukyan and Danis headline RAF 14 at Fontainebleau Las Vegas on Friday 23 October, with RAF's first middleweight crossover championship on the line. Danis lost 10-0 to Chimaev at RAF 10 in June, and Chimaev faces Robbie Lawler in the co-main event on the same card.
