Filip Hrgovic has branded British heavyweights Daniel Dubois and Fabio Wardley "fake champions", days after Dubois stopped Wardley in the second round of their rematch, and put Agit Kabayel and Murat Gassiev in the same bracket.
"I feel they're all fake champions right now," Hrgovic told Ariel Helwani. "Dubois is a fake champion because he beat fake champion Fabio Wardley. Fabio Wardley shouldn't have won against Parker. He was losing the fight, and I think it was a big robbery. When you beat a fake champion, you're a fake champion as well."
The Croatian, who has already been named by Derek Chisora as the toughest test for Dubois after the Wardley win, saved the same label for Kabayel and Gassiev. "Agit Kabayel received his belt without fighting. I also think he's a fake champion," he said. "And this Murat Gassiev is also a fake champion. He beat nobody and received his belt without fighting."
