Lee Selby set to headline BKB 61 in London on 14 November

Lee Selby will return to bare-knuckle action at indigo at The O2 after winning his BKB debut with a second-round knockout in Cardiff.

Lee Selby is set to headline BKB 61 at indigo at The O2 in London on Saturday, 14 November, Low Kick MMA reported.

BKB has yet to announce his opponent or the remaining bouts for the event, which will take place inside the promotion’s triangular fighting area, the Trigon.

Selby said: “I already know exactly what BKB is all about, and I’m looking forward to getting back in there. I’m ready to put on a great night for the fans.” The 39-year-old from Barry made a winning start to his bare-knuckle career on 27 June, stopping Italy’s Antonio Rizzo at BKB 55: Carnage in Cardiff. The promotion’s official results recorded a second-round knockout, leaving Selby 1-0 ahead of his return.

London was also the setting for Selby’s biggest boxing success. He won the IBF featherweight title against Evgeny Gradovich at The O2 Arena in May 2015, after an accidental clash of heads left Gradovich unable to continue. His reign ended with a split-decision defeat to Josh Warrington in May 2018.

Selby finished his professional boxing career with 28 wins, four defeats and nine knockouts. His last appearance came in March 2022, when Gustavo Daniel Lemos stopped him in the fifth round.
