BKFC scraps its flyweight division and plans to move champion John Dodson up to 135lbs
Chief executive David Feldman says there is not enough competition at 125lbs in bare-knuckle fighting to keep a full division busy.

BKFC is scrapping its 125lb flyweight division, chief executive David Feldman has said, and plans to move champion John Dodson up to 135lbs.
"We just don't have enough competition to have a full division and be able to keep the guys as busy as we want," Feldman told Jake Noecker. "It's hard to find real quality fighters, a lot of quality fighters, at 125 in any sport. But especially in bare-knuckle fighting, it's a little different."
Feldman said Dodson would move up, then added: "He doesn't know that yet. But he'll be the double champ... But then, you know, we're going to retire that."
BKFC has not said when Dodson will fight at 135lbs.
