Dominick Reyes gives Daniel Cormier an 'F-plus' for UFC 333 commentary in new YouTube series
Reyes gave Jon Anik a B or B-plus and Paul Felder an A, and said Cormier 'did no research' on Azamat Murzakanov.

Dominick Reyes has graded Daniel Cormier's commentary on his UFC 333 win an "F-plus", in the first episode of a new YouTube series he has called The Commentary Scorecard.
The series follows a run of posts on X after Saturday's event in Abu Dhabi, in which Reyes called Cormier a "low iq hater" and Cormier told him to "chill".
Reyes started with Cormier's call that Azamat Murzakanov had switched to southpaw. "He's a natural southpaw. He fights southpaw every time. He never fights orthodox ever," Reyes said. "So for him to say he's switching to southpaw is completely wrong. It just goes to show that he did no research or he's just talking, so that's the first minus for DC."
He also took issue with Cormier saying he was "back fighting the best ranked fighters in the world" after his losing run. "That comment is incorrect because I have only fought ranked fighters in my career since going on that losing streak," Reyes said.
Cormier's broadcast partner Jon Anik drew criticism for bringing up the blood clots Reyes had in 2022. "This is kind of a dead horse comment," Reyes said. "This has already been talked about, everybody already knows about my blood clots and you're commenting on something that really has nothing to do with the fight."
After Reyes dropped Murzakanov, Cormier said referee Mike Beltran "could have stopped the fight at any moment". Reyes said that kind of remark creates a narrative around a referee, and pointed to Herb Dean, who he said gets booed wherever he goes. "This is a ranked fight between two ranked fighters, No. 7 vs. No. 8," he said. "So this is a high-stakes fight and Beltran is just giving us an opportunity to fight and not stop the fight early, so I do commend Beltran for not stopping it early."
Reyes closed the episode by grading the three commentators. "I'm going to give Jon Anik a B, B-plus," he said. "I'm going to give DC an F-plus, and Paul Felder, I'll give him an A. He was focused on color commentary, he was unbiased, and he kept it real."
"You've got to do your research, you've got to be well-informed, and you've got to be unbiased," he added. "This is me holding these guys accountable."
Reyes stopped Murzakanov with a head kick and follow-up punches at 2:40 of the first round. It was his second straight win and his fifth in six fights, after a run of four straight losses that included two title fights.
