Renato Moicano says Brian Ortega vs Dan Hooker will be 'the worst fight in the UFC'
Moicano, whose two booked rematches with Ortega were both called off, has been calling for a fight with Hooker himself.
Renato Moicano does not rate the UFC's booking of Brian Ortega against Dan Hooker. "This is gonna be the worst fight in the UFC," Moicano told Full Send MMA.
Ortega and Hooker meet at UFC Qatar at the ABHA Arena in Doha on 21 November, with Ortega making his UFC lightweight debut.
Ortega submitted Moicano with a guillotine in 2017, and two planned rematches, at UFC 326 and UFC 331, were called off when Ortega withdrew. Moicano has also called out Hooker.
Moicano (21-7-1) headlines UFC Vegas 123 against Tom Nolan at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas on Saturday, with the main event expected at about 02:00 UK time early on Sunday on TNT Sports. Ortega is 16-5 with one no contest, and Hooker is 24-15.
