Kevin Vallejos signs new UFC deal and says he can't believe his pay before Sterling fight
The Argentine featherweight faces Aljamain Sterling at UFC Qatar on 21 November and says a win would earn him Alexander Volkanovski.

Kevin Vallejos has signed a new contract with the UFC and says he cannot believe how much he is being paid, three weeks before he fights Aljamain Sterling at UFC Qatar.
"WE just signed a new deal with the UFC. I can't believe how much money I'm getting paid to fight," Vallejos wrote on X. He did not say how much the deal is worth.
The Argentine (18-1) meets the former UFC bantamweight champion Sterling (26-5) in Doha on 21 November, and he is already looking at the featherweight title. "Guys if WE beat Sterling, WE get Volk," he wrote.
Alexander Volkanovski, who kept the featherweight title against Movsar Evloev at UFC 333, has said Sterling deserves the next title shot if he beats Vallejos, with Jean Silva next if Sterling loses. Volkanovski's coach Joe Lopez has said he would like the champion to fight Sterling next if Sterling wins in Doha.
Silva handed Vallejos the only defeat of his career, on Dana White's Contender Series in 2023. Vallejos has won all four of his UFC fights since, three of them inside the distance, and has said he wants to be the man who takes the title from Volkanovski.
