When Raul Rosas Jr. was born on 8 October 2004, Raoni Barcelos was already 17. On Saturday the two meet in the main event of a UFC Fight Night at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas.
Rosas Jr. is 21. Barcelos, born on 1 May 1987, is 39. They are close in size, according to the UFC's official figures: Rosas Jr. is 5ft 9in (175cm) and Barcelos 5ft 7.5in (171cm), and both have a 67in (170cm) reach.
Both arrive in form. Rosas Jr. has won five in a row since his only defeat, to Christian Rodriguez in April 2023, most recently beating Rob Font on points at UFC 326 in March. Barcelos has also won five straight, including decisions over Payton Talbott, Cody Garbrandt, Ricky Simon and, in April, Montel Jackson.
The fight is at bantamweight over five rounds. It is live on TNT Sports in the UK, with the main event in the early hours of Sunday.
