Derek Brunson has signed a multi-fight deal with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) and will make his debut at a BKFC Fight Night event at the Myrtle Beach Sports Center in South Carolina on Friday 20 November.
The move puts the 42-year-old on the same roster as Darren Till, who joined BKFC in April. Brunson beat Till by submission at UFC Vegas 36, and his arrival could give the 33-year-old a chance to avenge that defeat. Till has yet to comment on the signing of his former opponent.
Brunson has not fought since losing to Rodolfo Vieira at ADXC 7 in late 2024. He said: “I’ve been training for the past three years, getting my younger guys ready. Time to get back out there and have some fun. I have a very strong grind in me right now.” David Feldman, the founder and president of BKFC, said: “We’ve long admired his world class skills and can’t wait to see him in the Squared Circle. We’re positive he’s going to make some serious noise fighting for BKFC.”
