Khamzat Chimaev will wrestle Colby Covington for an RAF title in Abu Dhabi on 14 November
Both are unbeaten in Real American Freestyle. They meet for the Cruiserweight Crossover Championship at the Etihad Arena, on a card that starts at 4pm UK and Irish time.
Khamzat Chimaev and Colby Covington will headline Real American Freestyle's first event in Abu Dhabi, wrestling for the RAF Cruiserweight Crossover Championship at the Etihad Arena on Saturday 14 November.
The event starts at 8pm local time, which is 4pm in the UK and Ireland. RAF announced the bout on Tuesday.
Both are unbeaten in RAF. Chimaev, who has competed under the UAE flag since 2023, is 3-0 after wins over Dillon Danis, Tyron Woodley and Gilbert Burns. Covington, the former UFC interim welterweight champion and a two-time NCAA All-American wrestler, is 5-0, having beaten Luke Rockhold, Danis, Chris Weidman, Arman Tsarukyan and Belal Muhammad.
Henry Cejudo, Jordan Burroughs, Kyle Snyder, Tsarukyan and Abdulrashid Sadulaev are also due to compete on the card, with their opponents to be announced. It is RAF's third event outside the United States, after Tbilisi and Moscow, and the first under its five-year partnership with Abu Dhabi's Department of Culture and Tourism and the UAE Wrestling Federation.
