SNL star Sarah Sherman: 'Dana White is evil' and UFC fighters 'get annihilated' on pay
Sherman said she could get tickets to UFC events but asked "isn't it a little evil?", speaking on Stavros Halkias' Stavvy's World podcast.

Saturday Night Live star Sarah Sherman has called UFC CEO Dana White "evil" and said the sport's fighters "get annihilated" on pay.
Sherman was speaking on comedian Stavros Halkias' Stavvy's World podcast, in episode 204, uploaded this week. She said her brother Jack and comedian Jack Bensinger had got her into the sport. "My brother Jack and Jack Bensinger got me really addicted to UFC this summer," she said.
She then questioned going to a show. "I could get us all tickets to go. But isn't it a little evil?" she said. When Halkias agreed, she added: "It's just Dana White is evil."
Halkias went on to say that White's closeness to Donald Trump "has put a real damper on my appreciation of the sport".
Sherman then turned to what fighters earn. "And you know that they don't get paid," she said, before adding: "They get annihilated." Halkias called the pay structure "so f***ed up", adding: "Well, you get a bonus if you do well."
When Halkias said that "when a really good fighter's fighting, it's electric", Sherman called it "the most amazing thing".
White has said that referee pay is down to the Nevada State Athletic Commission, after he was asked about Dan Miragliotta's reported $1,600 for working UFC Vegas 123, and told people online to "worry about your f***ing self".
