Colby Covington faces Raul Rosas Jr as Danis, beaten by Arman Tsarukyan, withdraws
Rosas Jr, ranked No. 8 at UFC bantamweight, steps in on late notice for Tuesday's submission-only Hype FC main event at the PalaPellicone.

Raul Rosas Jr has stepped in to face Colby Covington in Tuesday's Hype FC main event at the PalaPellicone in Rome after Dillon Danis pulled out on late notice.
The No. 8-ranked UFC bantamweight will take on the former interim UFC welterweight champion in a submission-only contest. The match comes after Rosas Jr won his first UFC main event, against Raoni Barcelos in September.
Rosas Jr has competed for Hype FC before, going the distance with former UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo in a match ruled a draw. Before the Barcelos fight, he also submitted the brother of Zabit Magomedsharipov at ACBJJ 21.
Danis had been due to meet Covington in a rematch of their Real American Freestyle (RAF) contest in March, which Covington won. Danis has since lost on the RAF mat to Khamzat Chimaev and Arman Tsarukyan, and his withdrawal rules out a quick return after the Tsarukyan defeat.
Covington has turned to wrestling and grappling since announcing his UFC retirement. He holds the RAF cruiserweight crossover championship and signed with Hype FC to compete in submission-only contests.
