Khamzat Chimaev laughs off Colby Covington's Abu Dhabi complaints: 'I'm happy to beat him'
The pair wrestle for Covington's RAF cruiserweight crossover title at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on Saturday 14 November.

Khamzat Chimaev has laughed off Colby Covington's complaints about their Real American Freestyle wrestling match taking place in Abu Dhabi, telling MMA Fighting he is happy to finally get the chance to beat him.
Asked about Covington's comments, Chimaev laughed and said: "I don't care about whether he's happy or not, but I'm happy to beat him and happy, like, finally to get him, you know?"
Chimaev said he knew the match would be made once both men kept winning, pointing to Covington's RAF win over Belal Muhammad. "So he wins the wrestling match, so I win my match. So I knew it was going to happen," he said.
The pair headline RAF Abu Dhabi at Etihad Arena on Saturday 14 November, with Covington's cruiserweight crossover title on the line. Chimaev, the former UFC middleweight champion, has competed under the UAE flag since 2023.
Before that, Chimaev faces UFC Hall of Famer Robbie Lawler on RAF's card at Fontainebleau Las Vegas on Friday 23 October.
