Preview

Ramla Ali will fight unbeaten American Mikiah Kreps for the vacant IBF and WBO female super-bantamweight titles at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas, on Monday 9 November. The 10-round contest, promoted by Most Valuable Promotions, gives the Mogadishu-born fighter, who moved to England as a refugee and boxed as an amateur for England before switching to Somalia in 2018, another shot at a world title. Ali, 11-2 with four knockouts, lost to Yamileth Mercado for the WBC title at the weight in June 2024 and returns after a first-round knockout of Monika Singh in Dubai in February. Kreps, born in Niagara Falls, is 11-0 with three knockouts. The card also features Alycia Baumgardner against Elif Nur Turhan and Ellie Scotney against Tiara Brown.
